Versol Storage Calorifiers are with Heat Exchangers. These are specialized to use in heating and hot water systems. They are designed to provide efficient heat transfer from a primary heating source to water stored in a tank, ensuring a steady supply of hot water.
Storage Calorifiers consist of Storage Tank Shell and Heat Exchanger
Storage Tank capacity designed based on the peak demand requirements. Storage Tank Shell typically made of high-grade steel with copper on glass/enamel coating or stainless steel to withstand high temperatures and prevent corrosion. Storage tanks are are usually insulated to minimize heat loss and maintain water temperature for extended periods. Insulation shall be selected based on the stored water temperature and duration of storage.
Heat Exchangers are key in the Storage Calorifiers as the properly designed heat exchanger defines the efficiency of Calorifiers. Heat exchanger selection is based on the medium of primary heating as below. Heat Exchangers Transfers heat from the primary heating source (e.g., boiler, solar panels) to the water in the storage tank. The heat exchanger separates the primary heating circuit from the domestic hot water supply to ensure safety and efficiency.
Steam Storage Calorifiers (Versotherm STI-UT)
Uses U tube type heat exchanger and used in the steam system, connected to steam boilers. Heat Exchanger designed based on the Steam temperature and pressure. Versol can offer U tube Heat Exchangers with Corrugated Stainless Steel or Fin type Copper Tube for high efficient heat transfer.
LTHW/Boiler Storage Calorifiers (Versotherm STI-UT & Versotherm STI-SPIRA)
Versotherm STI-UT – Mainly Use U tube type heat exchanger connected to hot water boilers using hot water circulation pump. Heat Exchanger designed based on the LTHW/Boiler supply temperature and flow rate. Versol can offer U tube Heat Exchangers with Corrugated Stainless Steel or Fin type Copper Tube for high efficient heat transfer.
Versotherm STI-SPIRA- For lower heating load application, lower boiler capacity versol can offer Storage Calorifiers with Spiral Tube heat exchangers. Heat exchanger coil material can be stainless steel or copper based on the application. Versol offer spiral tube heat exchanger in removable and fixed type, based on the customer demand.
Heat Pump Storage Calorifiers (Versotherm STI-SPIRA)
Heat Pump system normally have lower LMTD and hence higher heat transfer area. For the best heat transfer and high performance heating system, Versol offers Spiral tube heat exchangers for the Heat Pump System. Calorifiers must be wisely selected with high heat transfer area heat exchanger for the better performance of Heat Pump.
Solar Storage Calorifiers (Versotherm STI-SPIRA)
Solar Storage Calorifiers require high heat transfer area heat exchanger due to low temperature difference and unstable temperature form the heat source. In specific cases we can also offer Storage Calorifiers with U tube heat exchanger.
